Privacy Policy
Plain-language notice of what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We do not sell your data and we do not run advertising trackers.

1. Who we are
B2 Appraisals ("B2 Appraisals", "we", "us") is an independent vehicle appraisal business based in Alvin, Texas, serving Houston and Southeast Texas in person and other states remotely. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit b2appraisals.com (the "Site") or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Site and to the phone calls, text messages and emails you exchange with us.
2. Information you give us
The Site has no account system and no forms. Everything we collect from you, you give us directly when you call, text or email us, or when you hire us for an appraisal. That can include:
- Contact details: your name, phone number, email address and mailing address.
- Vehicle details: year, make, model, VIN, mileage, condition, options and photos of the vehicle.
- Claim details: your insurer's valuation or offer, repair estimates, damage photos, police or accident reports and related correspondence, when you choose to share them.
3. Information collected automatically
Server logs. The Site is hosted by Vercel Inc. Like any web host, Vercel records basic technical data for security and reliability, such as IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the Site (pages viewed, how you arrived, whether you tapped the call button). Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (for example _ga) and processes your IP address, which Google does not log or store. We do not use advertising features or analytics data for targeted advertising. You can learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Fonts. The Site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests the font files from Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address and browser information. Google states that it does not use this data to track you.
Cookies. Apart from Google Analytics, the Site does not set cookies. We do not use advertising, retargeting or social media tracking pixels. You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings; the Site works without them.
Phone and text. Our business number is provided by Google Voice. When you call or text us, Google processes the call and message data under Google's privacy policy.
4. How we use your information
- To respond to your call, text or email and give you a quote.
- To prepare your appraisal report and, if you ask us to, to explain or defend it to your insurer, attorney or another party.
- To keep records of the work we did for you, invoice you and handle any follow-up.
- To keep the Site secure and understand which pages are useful.
- To comply with the law and protect our legal rights.
We do not use your information for marketing emails or texts unless you ask us to keep you updated, and you can tell us to stop at any time. Vehicle photos on the Site are of vehicles we have appraised, shown with license plates and other identifying details removed.
5. When we share information
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share information only:
- At your direction. For example, when you ask us to send your report to your insurer, adjuster, attorney, lender or court.
- With service providers that help us run the business, such as our web host (Vercel), analytics and fonts (Google), phone and text (Google Voice), email and document storage providers, and the vehicle data and market data providers we use to research comparable vehicles. They may use your information only to provide their service to us.
- When required by law, such as a subpoena or court order, or to protect the rights, property or safety of B2 Appraisals, our clients or others.
6. How long we keep information
We keep appraisal files, reports and related correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to support the report, which may be several years, because reports are sometimes questioned long after they are issued. Analytics data is retained by Google Analytics for the period set in our account and then deleted or aggregated.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information, including HTTPS on the Site and access controls on our accounts. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a security breach affects your sensitive personal information, we will notify you as required by Texas law and any other applicable law.
8. Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Email info@b2appraisals.com or call +1 (713) 489-3376. We will respond within 45 days. If you live in a state with a consumer privacy law (such as California, Texas, Virginia, Colorado or Connecticut), you may have additional rights, including the right to know, correct, delete, obtain a copy of your data and opt out of sale or targeted advertising. We do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising, and we honor these requests for all visitors regardless of where they live. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Because we do not sell data or use it for targeted advertising, browser "Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control signals do not change how the Site works, but you can block analytics cookies as described above.
9. Children
The Site and our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Third-party links
The Site may link to other websites, such as Google. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. Material changes will be posted on this page.
