Terms of Use

The rules for using this website, and what our appraisal reports are and are not.

Last updated: September 5, 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

By using b2appraisals.com (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. B2 Appraisals ("we", "us") may update these terms at any time by posting a new version here.

2. What the Site is for

The Site describes our vehicle appraisal services and gives general information about total loss claims, diminished value claims and vehicle valuation. It is provided for information only. Nothing on the Site is legal, financial, tax or insurance advice, and reading it does not create a client relationship with us. Laws and insurance policy terms vary and change; talk to a licensed attorney or your insurer about your specific situation.

3. Appraisal services

Appraisal work is performed under a separate engagement between you and B2 Appraisals, confirmed by phone, text, email or a written agreement. The scope, fee, delivery time and terms of any appraisal are set in that engagement, not on this Site. An appraisal report states the appraiser's independent opinion of value based on the information available at the time and the appraiser's inspection or review of photos and documents you provide. It is not a guarantee of the price a vehicle will sell for, of the amount an insurer will pay, or of the outcome of any claim, appraisal clause process, negotiation or lawsuit. Insurers, courts and other parties make their own decisions.

Our fees are flat fees agreed with you before the work starts, plus travel mileage where applicable. A discount may apply when several vehicles are appraised at the same time. Our fee is never a percentage of, or contingent on, the value we find or the amount you recover. We work only for the party that hires us and have no financial interest in the outcome of your claim, so we can serve as an independent, disinterested appraiser where your policy or the law (including Texas Insurance Code Chapter 1813) calls for one.

Eric Bridges holds a Texas all-lines adjuster license issued by the Texas Department of Insurance (license no. 3523120). Appraisal services under these terms are independent valuation services; we do not adjust claims on behalf of insurers and do not act as a public adjuster for you.

You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information, photos and documents you give us. We may decline any engagement, and we do not act as your attorney, public adjuster or insurance agent.

For vehicles outside Texas we work from the photos and documents you provide, and we may decline an engagement if we do not receive the information we need. Some states license certain vehicle appraisal activities. Our services are offered only where permitted, and we may decline or limit work in a state where a license we do not hold would be required.

4. Examples and figures on the Site

Dollar amounts, case cards and examples shown on the Site are illustrative. They are there to show how an appraisal works and what a result can look like, not to promise any result. Every vehicle, policy and claim is different, and no example on the Site predicts or guarantees the result in your case.

5. Accuracy of information

We try to keep the Site accurate and current, but we make no promise that it is complete, correct or up to date. The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

6. Intellectual property

The Site, including its text, design, logos and photographs, belongs to B2 Appraisals or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, scrape or use the content for any other purpose without our written permission.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site in any way that is unlawful, that interferes with its operation or security, or that attempts to gain unauthorized access to any system or data.

8. Phone calls and text messages

When you call or text our business number, you agree that we may reply by phone or text about your inquiry. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply. We do not send marketing text messages. You can ask us to stop texting you at any time by text, phone or email.

9. Third-party websites and services

The Site may link to third-party websites or rely on third-party services such as Google. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, terms or privacy practices.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, B2 Appraisals and its owner will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data or business, arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100). Liability relating to appraisal services is governed by the terms of the applicable engagement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless B2 Appraisals and its owner from any claims, damages and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your misuse of the Site or breach of these terms.

12. Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use the Site, and we build it with accessibility in mind (readable contrast, keyboard navigation, text alternatives for images). If you have trouble using any part of the Site, call or email us and we will help you directly and work to fix the problem.

13. Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

14. General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site.
